Bailee Knighten was born and raised in Atlanta, GA, in 2016 her family moved to Tampa, Florida. Being new to the area, she didn't have many friends yet but still wanted to make little girls smile with her nail designs.  Together with her mother, they came up with Bailee's Nail Box. It was a great way for her to create fun designs for little girls everywhere.

Bailee’s Nail Box was officially started on January 3, 2017, with a mission is to always make little girls smile with new and creative nail designs that will create lasting memories. Bailee was 9 years old. She wanted to create and sell nail boxes so little girls could enjoy the perks of doing fun designs in the comfort of their own home. Since starting Bailee’s Nail Box, she has had amazing opportunities to speak at Brown Girl Magic Conference, Me & Mommy Dream Bigger Tour, and the Inspiring Greatness Conference. In October 2017, Bailee’s Nail Box was one of three finalists in the Wells Fargo Pitch Perfect Contest to pitch for $5,000 in Miami, FL.

Outside of running a business, Bailee has a passion for track and field. She and her teammates set a record in the state of Georgia for the 4x100 8-9-year-old age group. Her passion for school is a top priority, as good grades always come first. In addition to consistently being on the honor roll, she represented her school in the 4th-grade science competition, at the Museum of Science and Industry.

Being that she is the only girl and middle child, Bailee is competitive in nature, she is always up for a good game or contest. Bailee also enjoys horseback riding, gymnastics, and swimming.
